Bucks Embark on Important Early Road Trip

Bucks Hope For Growth & Success

After starting the season with two wins and one home loss, the Bucks anticipate an even more significant challenge. There is no denying that last season, homecourt was vital for Milwaukee. This season though, Milwaukee must begin with finding comfort away from the Fiserv Forum. The next 11 games will be split up between nine on the road and two in Milwaukee. Starting Wednesday evening, the Bucks will travel to Boston to take on a Celtics team that desires a significant comeback.

Their journey only escalates from Boston in facing the Clippers, Jazz, Pacers, and Magic. They are all teams that experts have mostly picked to advance to the playoffs. Therefore, this period will be critical.  Many teams entered this season with some rust to shake off, including the Bucks. The process must accelerate, though, if Milwaukee hopes to come out of the next ten games on top. The team is still trying to find its dynamic, especially defensively.

New Additions Blend Together Nicely

Bringing in new players such as Wes Matthews and Kyle Korver added the new scoring fans desired. However, the defense is seemingly still an issue. Losing Brogdon forces the team to replace his ability, but fans should not worry too much. The season just started, and this transition will take some time. Bad luck fouls called on the MVP, and not locking it down defensively caused the loss in Miami. When these issues occur, any team can lose.

While looking forward to the big road trip, it will be wise to take one game at a time, focusing on the goal to dominate each opponent and come out with the win. The two more significant tests are against the Jazz and of course, the newly revamped Clippers. Facing the favorite to win it all, the Clippers, will show what the Bucks can display dominantly.

Competition Is Tough, But So Are The Bucks

Confidence has never been higher coming into the season. There may have been some bumps so far, but going forward, that can be fixed and avoided. Some may dread the next two weeks, but it will be a learning experience for all. Milwaukee will have its opportunity to shine against peak competition.

Do not be surprised though if the Bucks come out winning around seven to eight games in this stretch. Be advised that only winning five is also possible. The road will be long and hard, but ultimately the journey will be revealing.
