10 NBA Sneakers We Want to See in Orlando

on

With everything from the start date to the hotel reservations set, we can officially say basketball is back. In this unprecedented final portion of the season, companies will be competing for more screen time than ever. None more so than sneaker companies. Let’s peek the top-10 NBA sneakers we want to see in Orlando this summer.

10. Jordan Why Not? Zer0.3

Russell Westbrook’s shoes are as polarizing as his game. You love them, or you hate them – there is no in-between. We can expect some eye-catching colorways from the king of the tunnel fit.

9. Adidas Dame 6

Reviews of Lillard’s latest signature sneaker were mixed. Nevertheless, the All-Star point guard commands respect, especially in the playoffs.

8. Jordan 34 P.E.

The NBA is handling MJ’s signature line superbly. Zion, Tatum, Luka, and numerous elite players will be lacing up specially designed 34’s to fit their team colors and individual personalities.

7. Nike Kobe 5 P.E.

The Black Mamba’s fingerprints cover Nike and the NBA. I’m excited to see his sneaker legacy continue on the hardwood. Most notably on the feet of Anthony Davis, DeMar DeRozan, and Isaiah Thomas.

6. Adidas D.O.N. Issue #2

Donovan Mitchell hasn’t stopped making waves since entering the league. In mid-July, I expect the 2nd model from his signature line to drop.

5. Adidas Harden 4

The Beard is the face of three stripes basketball. Much like his backcourt partner, his game is polarizing. But that can’t stop you from appreciating his stellar sneaker line.

4. New Balance OMN1S

Kawhi lets his game do the talking. And of course, a fantastic marketing campaign by underdog brand, New Balance. Expect some more fire colorways this summer.

3. Nike Zoom Freak 2

Giannis had one of the best debut sneakers in Nike history. Although it’s not confirmed, the 2nd model from his signature line will likely debut late in the playoffs.

2. Nike PG 4

I’m still salty that Paul George spurned the Lakers twice. But that can’t stop me from appreciating the sleek design and fun colorways that his line consistently puts out.

1. Nike LeBron 17

LeBron is still king. Nike still rules the sneaker world. And the Lakers still reign supreme over the league. I can’t fathom how pretty his Finals P.E.’s would look on the court this fall.

Beyond the bubble city, lack of fans, and social distancing, there will be some weird situations to this playoff season. Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, and Kyrie Irving won’t be playing – three of the most popular players with the best kicks in the league will not play in the 2020 playoffs. Despite that deficit, basketball is back, and the footwear is going to be crazy.
