Rush Agrees to Sign 10-Day With Blazers

Veteran guard/forward Brandon Rush has agreed to sign a 10-day deal with the Portland Trail Blazers, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports.

Rush last played with the Milwaukee Bucks back in training camp, but was cut prior to the regular season. He is a career 40% shooter from deep, which adds immense value in addition to his veteran presence he will bring to this Portland team.

If the Blazers like what they see from Rush, they can sign him to a second 10-day deal following the expiration of the first one, but following two 10-day deals, they will either have to sign him for the remainder of the season or release him.

Rush’s last regular season action came in the 2016-17 season with the Minnesota Timberwolves, averaging 4.2 points over 22 minutes per game, starting 33 of 47 games played.
