Possible Trades For Kevin Love

Its been almost a week since LeBron James captured his 3rd nba title, 3rd NBA Finals MVP, and bringing home Cleveland’s first championship, but its the off-season and the talk will linger. Kevin Love, regardless of his very good NBA Finals Game 7, Kevin Love is not best suited for this team and that has been seen over and over again now.  Yes, the Cavaliers still won the title but it could have been a lot easier and less stressful if Love would have performed better than his average stat line of of 7 points, 5 rebounds, and 1 assists for a $100M dollar man. Its in the best interest of the Cavaliers to trade him, and I think they do explore options, so lets take a look at some of the situations for Love.

Kevin Love, Iman Shumpert, and a First round pick to New York for Carmelo Anthony and Aaron Afflalo.

Why It Works: Cavs replace Love with an actual superstar in Carmelo Anthony, get rid of  Iman Shumpert and bring in another 3 and D guy like J.R. Smith in Aaron Afflalo. The first round pick is just to sweeten the deal for the Knicks who shed cap and continue to build for the future.

Kevin Love and Timofey Mozgov to the Milwaukee Bucks for John Henson and Greivis Vasquez

Why It Works: Bucks haven’t been named as an actual suitor, but I don’t put it passed them. The Cavs move on some cap in Mozgov and Love, and then bring in some youth shot blocking ability like Henson and a backup ball handler in Vazquez to replace Dellavedova.
