Pistons C Andre Drummond Replaces Injured John Wall in All-Star Game

After being initially left off the NBA All-Star Draft Board, Andre Drummond will be a member of Team LeBron for the 2018 NBA All-Star game.

Drummond’s call up to the big midseason showcase was due to Washington Wizards’ PG John Wall going down with a knee injury.

Drummond was shocked that he was left off the original team, posting this not so cryptic tweet following the unveiling of the rosters:

Drummond has been having a solid season, averaging 14.7 PPG and 15.1 RPG. He has led the Pistons to a 22-26 record, good for 9th in the Eastern Conference. With the addition of former Clippers superstar Blake Griffin, Drummond and the Pistons look primed to make a playoff push in the second half of the season.
