Can Kevin Love Return to Minnesota Form?

With the departure of LeBron James, the “Big 3” is now down to its last member, Kevin Love. This young Cavaliers team will now be anchored by Love in hopes to make another playoff push.

This will be the first time since his days in Minnesota in which Love will be under the main spotlight. If Love can return to his 2011-2013 self, then he’s destined to be an All-Star.

In 2011, Love averaged 26 points and 13 rebounds per game. The five time all star put up similar numbers in 2013, averaging 26 points and 12.5 rebounds per game. Love having more control of the offense now should allow him to exceed his 2017-2018 averages of 17.6 PPG and 9.3 RPG.

Expect a breakout year from the Power Forward/Center, who just recently signed a four-year extension worth $120 million with the Cavaliers.
